This gas sampling line is used to draw a continuous sample of respiratory gas from the breathing circuit to a capnograph or anesthetic gas monitor. The narrow bore allows a low sample flow, so the effect on the breathing circuit is minimal, and the line is available with or without an integrated water trap to protect the monitor from condensate and secretions. It is supplied individually packed for single use.
Key Features:
Draws respiratory gas from the breathing circuit to a capnograph or gas monitor
Narrow bore for low sample flow
Minimal effect on the breathing circuit
Available with or without an integrated water trap
Standard connectors for capnography monitors
Available in multiple lengths
Individually packed, single use
Applications:
End-tidal CO2 monitoring during anesthesia and ventilation
Anesthetic gas concentration monitoring
Verification of tracheal tube placement
Respiratory monitoring in ICU and operating theatre
Use with an airway adapter or sampling port on a breathing circuit
Important Notes:
Single use only. Do not reuse.
Do not use if the package is damaged or opened.
Confirm that the connector is compatible with the monitor before use.
Position the sampling line to avoid condensate and secretions entering the tubing.
Replace the line if it becomes blocked, contaminated or wet.
Do not kink or clamp the sampling line during use.
Do not use the line for fluid sampling.
Readings should be verified against the monitor's own calibration where required.
For CO2 monitoring in spontaneously breathing patients, see our EtCO2 nasal cannula, which combines a nasal cannula with a sampling line.
