This heated breathing circuit is designed for use with ventilators and anesthesia machines fitted with heated circuit support. A heated wire runs through the circuit limb to keep the inspired gas above its dew point and help prevent condensation from forming in the tubing. The circuit is available in a single heated version, with the wire in the inspiratory limb only, and a dual heated version, with heated wires in both the inspiratory and expiratory limbs.
Key Features:
Available in single heated and dual heated configurations
Heated wire keeps inspired gas above its dew point to help prevent condensation
Dual heated version also heats the expiratory limb to reduce condensate build-up
Available in adult, pediatric and infant sizes
Single-use, individually packed
Applications:
Mechanical ventilation with a heated humidifier
Long-term ventilation where condensate management is critical (dual heated)
Anesthesia and critical care ventilation
Neonatal and pediatric ventilation (where applicable)
Important Notes:
Single use only. Do not reuse or resterilize.
Do not use if the package is damaged or opened.
Use only with compatible ventilators and humidifiers that support heated circuits. Check the connector type before use.
Connect the temperature probe and heated wire correctly before starting ventilation.
Position water traps at the lowest points of the circuit.
Do not immerse electrical connectors or allow them to become wet.
Do not kink or compress the circuit during use.
This product is a breathing circuit. It does not provide ventilatory support on its own.
