This disposable medical flow sensor is used to measure gas flow in breathing circuits on ventilators and anesthesia machines. The sensor is positioned in the circuit and provides a flow signal to the device for respiratory monitoring. It has a low dead space design to minimise the effect on ventilation, and is available with standard 15 mm and 22 mm circuit connectors. The sensor is supplied individually packed for single patient use.
Key Features:
Measures gas flow in breathing circuits on ventilators and anesthesia machines
Low dead space design to minimise the effect on ventilation
Standard 15 mm and 22 mm circuit connectors
Available in adult and pediatric versions
Disposable, single patient use
Individually packed
Applications:
Respiratory flow monitoring during mechanical ventilation
Flow measurement on anesthesia machines
Anesthesia and critical care breathing circuits
Where a disposable sensor is preferred to avoid cross-contamination
Important Notes:
Single patient use only. Do not reuse or resterilize.
Do not use if the package is damaged or opened.
Confirm that the sensor type, connector and flow range are compatible with the ventilator or anesthesia machine before use.
Position the sensor in the circuit according to the equipment manufacturer's instructions.
Do not allow condensate or secretions to enter the sensor; this can affect accuracy.
Do not block, puncture or dismantle the sensor.
Handle the sensor carefully; do not drop or apply force to the sensing element.
This device is a flow sensing accessory. It does not provide ventilatory support.
Readings should be verified against the equipment's own monitoring where required.
