This reusable silicone breathing circuit is designed for anesthesia and ventilation, and can be sterilized by autoclaving between patients. Made from medical grade silicone, it is latex-free and resists aging, and the transparent tubing allows visual monitoring of condensate. Unlike single-use circuits, it can be reprocessed and reused, helping to reduce single-use plastic waste in the operating theatre.
Key Features:
Reusable and autoclavable, reducing cost per use
Medical grade silicone, latex-free and resistant to aging
Transparent tubing for visual monitoring of condensate
Durable construction that withstands repeated sterilization cycles
Helps reduce single-use plastic waste in the operating theatre
Available in adult and pediatric sizes
Applications:
Anesthesia breathing circuits in operating theatres
Departments with validated reprocessing facilities
High-volume settings where reusable circuits reduce cost per use
Facilities with sustainability targets to reduce single-use plastics
Reprocessing:
After use, disassemble and clean the circuit with an appropriate detergent, rinse thoroughly, dry completely, then autoclave according to the validated cycle. Inspect the tubing and connectors for cracks, discolouration or damage before each reuse, and discard if any damage is found.
Important Notes:
Reusable device. Clean and sterilize before first use and between patients according to the instructions for use.
Do not exceed the validated autoclave temperature and cycle.
Dry the circuit completely before storage to prevent microbial growth.
Inspect the tubing and connectors for cracks or damage before each use; discard if damaged.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged or opened.
This product is a breathing circuit. It does not provide ventilatory support on its own.
