This 2000 mL bedside urine drainage bag is designed for catheterised patients who are confined to bed. It hangs from a bed frame below the level of the bladder, and the large capacity means it needs emptying less often, which is useful for overnight use and for patients who are not mobile. An anti-reflux valve helps prevent urine from flowing back towards the bladder, and the graduated markings allow drainage volume to be read and recorded.

Important Notes:
Single use only. Do not reuse or resterilize.
Do not use if the package is damaged or opened.
Position the bag below the level of the bladder at all times to prevent backflow.
Do not allow the bag or outlet valve to touch the floor.
Empty the bag when it is approximately two thirds full, or according to your facility's protocol.
Keep the drainage system closed; avoid unnecessary disconnection.
Check that the inlet tube connection to the catheter is secure.
Record drainage volume and character according to your facility's protocol.
