This disposable Guedel oropharyngeal airway (OPA) with integrated bite block is designed to maintain airway patency in unconscious patients and to protect against biting during procedures. Its Guedel design follows the natural curve of the oropharynx, and the integrated bite block helps prevent occlusion of the airway lumen. The airway is colour-coded by size for quick identification and is supplied individually packed for single use.

Do not use if the package is damaged or opened.
Select the correct size by measuring from the corner of the mouth to the angle of the mandible. An oversized airway may obstruct the airway; an undersized airway is ineffective.
Do not use in conscious patients with an intact gag reflex, as this may provoke gagging or vomiting.
This device does not protect the airway against aspiration. Use an endotracheal tube or supraglottic airway where airway protection is required.
