This heat and moisture exchange filter (HME) is designed for use in anesthesia and ventilation circuits to conserve the patient's own heat and humidity. It is intended for short-term use where active humidification is not required, and is available in adult and pediatric sizes with standard 22 mm / 15 mm connectors.
