2. Securely attach all connections with a twisting action before connecting to the patient, ensuring a leak-free and tight fit.
3. Conduct a product test according to the machine instructions. Verify compatibility with the equipment in use and confirm that the product is free from leaks and blockages.
4. Ensure that ports such as the gas sampling port, pressure port, and temperature port remain closed when not in use with the monitoring line.
5. Continuous patient monitoring is essential whenever the product is in use.
