Our High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) is a specialized patient interface designed for use with high-flow respiratory therapy systems. Unlike conventional low-flow nasal cannulas that deliver only 4–6 L/min, our HFNC delivers heated and humidified medical gas at flow rates up to 60 L/min or higher, meeting or exceeding the patient's peak inspiratory flow demand. The device ensures delivery of optimally conditioned gas with a precisely controlled oxygen concentration (FiO₂) ranging from 21% to 100%.
Engineered for spontaneously breathing patients, our HFNC is a comfortable, non-invasive alternative to traditional oxygen masks and non-invasive ventilation. It is suitable for use across a broad spectrum of care settings – from emergency departments and intensive care units to post-operative care and home respiratory support.
· Optimal Gas Conditioning – Delivers heated (up to 37°C) and humidified (near 100% relative humidity) breathing gas. This protects airway mucosa, enhances mucociliary clearance, and reduces airway resistance.
· Superior Patient Comfort – Made from soft, skin-friendly, biocompatible silicone that minimizes skin irritation and helps prevent pressure sores. The anatomically shaped nosepiece adapts individually for a secure yet gentle fit.
· Enhanced Clinical Outcomes – Improves oxygenation, reduces work of breathing, decreases respiratory rate, and helps washout CO₂ from anatomical dead space. Clinical evidence supports its role in reducing intubation rates and 90-day mortality compared to standard oxygen therapy.
· Reliable High-Flow Performance – Smoothbore tubing minimizes flow resistance at high flow rates. Anti-kinking design and swiveling connectors ensure uninterrupted gas delivery.
· Versatile & User-Friendly – Available in multiple sizes (2XS, XS, S, M, L, L1) to accommodate neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. Universal 22mm/15mm conical connector ensures compatibility with most high-flow therapy devices.
Our HFNC is indicated for spontaneously breathing patients who would benefit from receiving high-flow warmed and humidified respiratory gases. Common applications include:
· Acute hypoxemic respiratory failure
· Preoxygenation and post-extubation support
· Immunocompromised patients with respiratory compromise
· Pediatric respiratory conditions (e.g., bronchiolitis, pneumonia)
· Chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD and bronchiectasis
