Expandable Anesthesia Circuit Kit

This expandable anesthesia circuit kit uses a tubing section that extends and compresses like a spring, so the length can be adjusted to suit the distance between the patient and the anesthesia machine. Each kit is assembled from a fixed combination of circuit length, single tube, breathing bag and connectors, and is available for adult, pediatric and infant patients.

The expandable section is the defining feature of this circuit type. It allows the circuit length to be adjusted after the patient is positioned, which is useful where the patient may be moved or repositioned during a procedure, and it lets the circuit be compressed for storage. The expanded section maintains a clear gas path at any length.

• Check that all connections are secure before use.

• Do not use the breathing system filter with a nebulizer; medication may be trapped.

• This product is a breathing system. It does not provide ventilatory support on its own.
